Courtenay beach House is perfectly located on the East Coast of Vancouver Island, just over an hour North of Nanaimo or three hours North of Victoria.
To reach our location, you need to get to Vancouver Island. Take the ferry from West Vancouver – Nanaimo (www.bcferries.com). There are alternative ferry routes, which you can discover by studying the BCferries routes, or let us know and we can suggest some interesting circle routes.
If you are driving, take Highway 19 North (4 lane divided highway) to Courtenay. We are 107km (66 miles) north of Nanaimo, and 220 km (137 miles) north of Victoria. Or you can travel the lovely Oceanside route on the old Island Highway 19A.
You can fly to Courtenay Comox – the airport in Comox (YQQ) is a 15 minute drive to our house (www.comoxairport.com). There are several direct flights from Edmonton and Calgary www.westjet.com) a day, and flights from Vancouver and Victoria (www.pacificcoastal.com) every day.
